The following information has been deliberately written for the lay reader, free of legal jargon and technical terms which would distract from the importance of the message. It doesn't take a judge to determine that significant issues remain unresolved. All it takes is common sense of the type exercised daily by average citizens in the conduct of everday affairs. Citizens for Truth believes that certain aspects of the D.A.'s report underestimate the ability of average citizens to form independent judgments when presented with ALL the facts that a fair and impartial inquiry would reveal. At worst, the D.A.'s report manifests a cynical distrust for the public and their ability to make impartial decisions. Without the "spins" and the prejudical press generated by the D.A., one can legitimately question if a majority of the public would agree with the "official version" of the facts. CFT, therefore, feels compelled to offers an alternative analysis. We have tried hard to remain neutral in presenting these facts.
According to the official version of the assassination, there are four distinct crime scenes related to the deaths of Bill Gates, Thomas Baker and Alek Hidell. What follows is Citizens for Truth's analysis of those crime scenes, based on the Garcetti Report, other evidence from government sources, and Citizens for Truth's own research.
Crime Scene #1: The Band Shell
While walking onto the band shell stage in MacArthur Park, Bill Gates was shot by two bullets fired from a Mauser rifle. Few controversies here, but click the above link for a brief synopsis of this crime scene.
Crime Scene #2: The Roof Of The Park Plaza Hotel
Someone fired two shots from this location. But was this assassin the man the police and district attorney claim he was? Citizens for Truth has discovered that significant doubt exists as to the early identification of the gunman.
Crime Scene #3: The Fifth Floor Stairwell
LAPD officer Tom Baker was discovered here with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Who killed Tom Baker? The answer may not be as simple as the official version would lead you to believe.
Crime Scene #4: The Basement
Alleged assassin Alek Hidell met rookie officer Jacob Powell--and death--here in the darkened basement of the Park Plaza Hotel. What happened in this location? Only one living person knows for sure--and there is reason to doubt his story.
