For the serious Gates assassination buff:
For the first time ever,
virtually all of the available basic evidence related to the Bill Gates
assassination is now on one DVD. It's all here: Every angle of the
assassination in both real time and slow-motion, footage from before and
after the historic murder, footage of Running Man (the
still-controversial mysterious figure seen running away after the
assassination), and pictures from every aspect of the assassination,
including alleged assassin Alek Hidell's childhood photos. Plus, the DVD
includes more than an hour of audio excerpts from the chilling LAPD
interrogation of Julia Serrano, a little-seen appearance by Citizens for
Truth on a Los Angeles public-affairs show, and multimedia presentations
created by Citizens for Truth that explain in detail the major
controversies surrounding the last great crime of the 20th Century.
Included with the DVD is a short illustrated booklet and a personal
letter from Citizens for Truth president Debra Meagher.
None
of the material on the DVD is strictly copyrighted, which means you can
use it on your own Web page, in your own documentaries, QuickTime
movies, art projects, music, whatever. We're working on the best way to
make this stuff available for ease of use on your computer. CfT wants

EVIDENCE
The "Evidence" portion of the DVD contains the basic video, audio and
text evidence that is available regarding the Bill Gates assassination.
The assassination. Ever
wanted to study the original, uncut footage of this historic
assassination? Here is your chance. The DVD presents full-resolution
versions of all of the available footage and where it is useful presents
slowed-down versions of pivotal moments, for easy step-by-step analysis.
Needless to say, this footage is not appropriate for sensitive viewers.

Running Man. As you likely
know, a mysterious man was captured on video running from the Park Plaza
Hotel across 6th Street just moments after the assassination occurred.
He ran into a cafe, where an employee named Julia Serrano heard him say,
"We shot him!" This man has never been identified. The "Evidence" DVD
includes the footage of Running Man in several resolutions and speeds,
including an "isolation" shot of the red object apparently sticking out
of his back pocket (which may be a hat, which may match the photo of the
rooftop killer).

Interrogation. Days after
the assassination, the LAPD tidied one of the last loose ends of their
official version of the Gates killing--that troublesome statement by
Julia Serrano that she heard Running Man say, "We shot him!" The
LAPD interrogated her for six hours, eventually getting her to sign a
statement saying she may have
heard Running Man say "They
shot him." More than 90 minutes of audio excerpts from this
astonishingly coercive interrogation by the LAPD are on the DVD. As far
as we know, this is the first time these important audio tapes have
been made available in any format.

examination, a middle portion where Det. Hernandez browbeats Julia into
submission, and the final segment where he has her sign a "compromise"

Report. Finally, for your
convenience, the entire publicly available portions of the Garcetti Report are included
as a slide show. The Report represents the official version of the
assassination.

CONTROVERSY
Now that you have studied the basic evidence, you can look into some of
the alternate interpretations of the LAPD and D.A.'s controversial work.
Multimedia walk-throughs.
Citizens for Truth offers detailed walk-throughs of the four major
crime scenes related to the assassination: The band shell, the rooftop,
the fifth-floor stairwell, and the basement. If you are not familiar
with the details of the Gates assassination, these multimedia
walk-throughs will be invaluable. Simply and clearly, Citizens for Truth
members guide you through the official versions of the events, then
illustrate the potential flaws in those versions, offering alternate
interpretations that may fit better with the available evidence.
"The City Beat." Also in
this section of the DVD is the full-length version of the public affairs
TV show "The City Beat" on which Citizens for Truth president Debra
Meagher and director of action Mark Anderson squared off with two
authors of a book that takes the side of the official version of the
assassination. While the show did get a bit heated at a few points, we
think it illustrates just what kind of logic the pro-Garcetti side of
this argument uses. The show is also a good way for Gates-assassination
novices to get an understanding of the basic controversies. Short sample.
Trailer. Finally the
"Controversy" portion includes a trailer for "Nothing So
Strange," Brian Flemming's feature-length documentary about the
Gates assassination, which concentrates heavily on the efforts of
Citizens for Truth. We know you're dying for this movie to become
available on home video. So are we! But right now it's only on the
independent festival circuit, so we'll have to make do with this trailer
that Brian graciously made available to us. But do check out the
documentary's official
website to see when the film might be coming to your area.

ACTION
The final portion of the DVD invites you to get involved.
Make your own. The
Citizens for Truth Gates Assassination Evidence DVD is not just for you
to passively look at. You can also use the material on it for your own
purposes. Citizens for Truth has made all of the media on the DVD
available to you free of oppressive copyright restrictions. You don't have to
seek permission from anyone or pay royalties to use the audio, pictures,
video or anything else. (See the eventual license for details.)
