The Park Plaza Hotel

When two bullets from a sniper's rifle killed William Henry Gates III on December 2, 1999, the world turned upside down. The police and the media converged on the MacArthur Park area in Los Angeles and scrambled to find answers. Who had killed Bill Gates? Why?

Now, almost a year later, the world has moved on. But Citizens for Truth still has questions. We believe that the real story behind the assassination and aftermath has yet to be fully determined. That's why we're holding the three-day-long First Annual Research Conference: to educate the general public about the key assassination controversies; to help Gates assassination researchers disseminate their observations and learn from each other; and to provide an opportunity for networking among all of those interested in studying the assassination.

SPECIAL APPEARANCE: Julia Serrano, an eyewitness to "Running Man," joins Citizens for Truth's Director of Action David James for a special Q&A session on Saturday, December 2nd at 3PM! We anticipate "standing room only" attendance for the event and this rare glimpse into events of the day from an primary eyewitness.

[THE EXHIBITS]

Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day of the conference just outside the Lecture Hall, the Exhibition Hall features a scale model of the assassination site, detailed floorplans of the key areas of the assassination, a number of items known to have belonged to accused assassin Alek Hidell, a rifle similar to the one Hidell was alleged to have carried, and a computer with access to the Internet and the Citizens for Truth website.

A limited number of tour slots are available for a guided tour of the assassination site, including the Rooftop, Stairwell #1, the Fifth Floor (Baker killing site), Stairwell #2, the Basement and the Running Man Corridor. Advanced reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as we expect this tour to sell out quickly.
